author of the Teen Spell Book: Magick for Young Witches

I wrote my latest book The Teen Spell Book: Magick for Young Witches to provide love and support for my inner teen as well as guide others to empower the teen they were, the teen they may become, or the teen they are.

To write with authenticity I mustered the courage to relive my teen years by rereading my diaries, listening to old music, and meditation. As a teen I had masked my pain with walls of anger and self-destructive behavior. Lugging this angst, resentment, and pain around from these formative years kept me from my joy and actually enabled or allowed me to repeat patterns of mirroring anger or lack of self-love to those who came across my path. I tried metaphysical processes to release the pain but it was not until I wrote The Teen Spell Book that I received the healing I needed.

I breathed deep and reentered some dark places so I could see them from a different level of awareness and release myself from the bonds of pain. I learned to assume the responsibility for my participation and take small steps towards forgiveness. We are all rays of light from the sun, and each light beam is essential to the whole. As we give up associations to this pain and watch for Spirit’s gifts even during the most difficult moments we will become lighter and happier. I believe the final steps to actualize wholeness, peace, and acceptance is in extending the outlook of personal experiences.
